Thank you to everyone who has followed on this journey for the past 2 years. From the moment that we found out we were pregnant with the little bean - to the moment Brennan turned 1 year old....we have had friends that have shared in all of these moments with us. I thank everyone for their support, their advice and most of all for their love. This may be the last of the House of Wards - but we know that the love and support will never end.

To my son.....

What a journey it has been. From the moment that you entered my life, I loved you and cared about you more then you will ever be able to understand. You have made me whole. You have made me complete. I treasure each day that I am able to spend with you and the time that we have together - just you and I, baby B - together moments that will be memories of mine for a lifetime. I remember the first time I held you in my arms. You were mine. I prayed over you while I held you so tight and asked God to give you a life full of blessing and love. He has already answered my prayer.

It has been an amazing journey over this past year. You have gone from this little tiny baby - to now, this little boy..... this amazing little boy that I am so proud of. I know that I can't stop time, but I can savor every moment and not rush these precious moments. These days are just a blip in your long life which you won't even remember. But they are the days that I will recall in my mind for the rest of my life.

I will love you forever B.

I will love you for always.

No matter what, my baby you'll be.

The Sunday immediately following B's birthday we had his one year pictures taken by Sara Rose. Her and I had been talking for so long about his 1 year birthday and how to BOTH of us it was so sentimental. Baby Brennan was Sara Rose's first newborn to ever photograph. Its her first one full year to document. I have told her so many times that she has taken pictures that I will treasure forever. Moments of B that you forget so quickly - realizing that they grow so fast. We met at Percy Warner Park on a beautiful fall day and took pictures for roughly an hour. We had about 30 minutes left until her next appointment and we just sat and talked. We talked about B, we talked about life and we especially talked about life as a mother. We cried. We cried a lot. B had come to love her and to me, she had become such a memorable part of his life.

Thank you Sara for what you have captured for our family. We ALL thank you.... grandparents, parents and of course us. You have captured the life of B in photographs that will be treasured for a lifetime. Thank you for being such an important part of his first year.

B's First Birthday Celebration.

Wow.... I don't really even know where to start with this post and am even thinking I don't even know what pictures to put up in this post. This, all in all, was one amazing day and one that I will never ever forget. The day started off just right. Brennan slept in (thankfully!) and took one heck-a-va nap that afternoon (4 hours to be exact!) so that gave me a lot of time to get the house ready. I had balloons, made table cloths, made party favors for the kids, presents galore and just needed to pick up the food and the cake. This, to me, wasn't going to be a typical first birthday party. No themes. No cuteness. Just a night for all of our friends and family to come and celebrate this joyous little boy that has been a part of our lives for a year now. What better way to do this then with lots of beer, lots of BBQ and lots of socializing. It was perfect.

Most everyone started to show up at the house around 5:00. The weather was awesome. Kids were playing in the backyard. All of the parents were out back on the deck. I was truly amazed with how many people came (63 people!!!) to celebrate. I always think, the bigger the crowd the better the party. We celebrated for hours. Ate dinner and did the traditional cake pictures and present opening. B loved the cake and ice cream and to our amazement used a fork for the very first time and used it like he knew what he was doing. The presents..... oh my goodness, the presents. It was UNREAL. They were everywhere and actually still are. Most everyone stayed until 8:00 and we had a few stragglers til roughly 10. Baby B crashed that night..... well, I think we all did.

It was a perfect day....which is exactly what I wanted. I know that he wont remember any of this, but I wanted it perfect for baby B. He is a life worth celebrating to so many.

First Haircut!

Well, the start of baby Brennan's first birthday weekend could only start in my eyes one way only.... his first haircut. Time to get rid of his mullet. I have always been told of the tradition of not cutting your child's hair until they are one year old. That somehow it is bad luck. I have heard this from quite a few people....but the moment my Grandmother said it to me, I knew I would have to follow it. The time finally came. I had scheduled an appointment with Jessica, who is my stylist and is so good with cutting kids hair that I knew that's was where I wanted him to go. I was completely unsure how B would handle it though. Just the noise of the atmosphere and all of the chaos that comes with a salon. But of course, he was awesome. Just give him a squirt bottle to play with and off we go. It only took about 15 minutes and 10 dollars later.... he finally looked like a grown up little boy. Of course, I have saved the first lock of hair for his baby book. This truly was the best way to start off B's birthday weekend.

In September, the second blessing arrived in the life of my very best friend Donna. His name is John Thomas...... Thomas for short, but I love to just shorten it even more to just "T". He is a beautiful little boy that looks so much like Donna which I love so much. Her family means the world to me and has been my second family for so many years (19 years, I think?) and it was so wonderful to see the Jones genes come thru on baby Thomas. It was an absolutely joyful time when Thomas finally arrived and we were able to meet him...and it was truly love at first sight. We just cant wait to watch him grow up (but not too fast of course....) and have just one more little boy to add to our bunch.

So..... I have had a few of you email me and and ask me what my plan is for the blog? I am excited to say that I just ordered a hard back book of Brennan's life as the "bean". From the very first post - to the post of the news when he was born. I absolutely can not wait to get my hands on it and know that it will be treasured for years and years. With that said, I plan to do the same thing for Brennan's first year. We have had so many ups and downs and so many milestones over this past year..... it is so very, very hard for me to grasp the fact that he will be 1 year in only a few short weeks. I plan to keep this blog going only for another month. It's amazing how much time takes up with a child that is ALL over the place. Keeping up with the blog is becoming a hard thing for me to find time to do.

Keep checking back with us over the next month...... who KNOWS what will happen next!

So..... my best friends, Sarah and Donna are already poking fun at me. Yep, I am already planning baby B's first birthday party. The calendar is filling up quick this fall with weddings, baby showers and birthday's.... I wanted to go ahead and start getting it out of the way. So, in true "Tant" fashion - the guest list is already up to 50 people - thinking about kegs and maybe Ben Johnson's famous grill trailer in the backyard - making baby B's wish list for gifts - ordering party favors - even thinking about a photographer too! (Phindy.... wish you weren't off in an exotic local shooting a wedding!!) Just a good 'ol fashion shindig.

You only turn 1 once right?? I am thinking that it HAS to be done just right....

Well, I had to keep it a little hush, hush..... and wow, how I do love surprise parties. This past week a long time wonderful friend of mine turned 30. Annie. Let's see..... we went to Kindergarten together, went all thru High School together, went all thru College together (even shared a room every year), was her Matron of Honor in her Wedding and still to this day we can always pick up right where we left off. So, I decided a great way to surprise her was to show up to her 30th Birthday party. Of course, I had her hubby Ben all in the know.... and he was thrilled that Tim and I were making the trek. Wow.... what a reaction. It.was.perfect. I always love being able to make someone happy.... especially if it involves me going the extra mile for someone. I had such a wonderful time.

Today I finally got to meet the beautiful Virginia Tosh...only a little over 2 weeks old. She is the newest baby girl from one of my best friends Leslie and her wonderful hubby, Emil. Virginia was such a doll today. You forget so quickly the little hands and feet and those "dinosaur" noises that they make. Porter was also being such a wonderful big sister and giving sweet Virginia lots of kisses and singing to her Jesus Loves Me. It was such a great visit and such a highlight to my morning. Don't grow up to fast sweet girl.... I cant wait to see you again!

My new favorite past time is sewing.... I have gotten a few chances to play with my new sewing machine and get accustomed to it's crazy settings, 60 different stitches and how to use the block lettering. Well, today was no different. I had taken the day off while Brennan was at "school" and got to spend a few hours sewing. I did make a cute little apron..... lots of raw edges, but still looks very vintage. I think I might get carried away with this new little hobby..... but that's perfectly okay by me! :)

It's a family tradition to always get everyone together at the first of August to celebrate what seems to be EVERYONE's birthday all together. Well, this year - the celebration turned a little bit - to only me and Tim. Since we both turned 30th roughly 2 weeks from each other the family decided the small get together and dinner would be just for this big milestone. It was a great time had by all. Brennan was the center of attention of course.... especially since he is crawling and pulling up on what seems to be everything. My Aunt and Uncle were there, my cousin, my in laws and my brother in law even drove in from Memphis. The best part about it (besides all the laughs) was the cards. I have finally determined that the older you get the more cards you get.... forget the presents, bring on the Hallmark! I am VERY happy to report though, that I did FINALLY get my sewing machine!!!!

So 30 is here and gone (-ish).... well, sortof.

Tomorrow I turn 30.

Over the past few days I have been thinking a lot about what has happened and about what has changed in my life over the past decade. To think about how much I have grown. To think about what my life has become. To think about the people that have become such a significant part of my life and who have helped make me into who I am today.

Just to think in the past 10 years I.....

- Moved to Chattanooga.

- Turned "21"....

- Lived in New York City.

- Graduated from College.

- Moved to Birmingham.

- Started my first job and started my career.

- Got married.

- Moved to Nashville.

- Built my first house.

- Lost my job (never again!).

- Gained a new career.

- Witnessed my friends get married.

- Ran 2 "1/2 Marathons".

- Stood by the side of so many friends having babies.

- Rekindled old friendships and familyships.

- Made new, life changing relationships. (my rock).

- Had the joy of being pregnant.

- Best part of all.......I became a MOM.

I can not even think about what the next 10 years has in store for me.

I thank God every day for the life that He has given me.

I have learned how to live and love.

Through all of the ups and downs, my life experiences wouldn't have made me the woman I am today.

You finally reached that milestone. You finally got to 30 and realized it really wasn't that huge ordeal that so many people make it out to be. But for this birthday, forget huge parties.....this was a weekend to surround yourself with good friends and in a few short weeks being able to spend it with family, I am sure you couldnt have imaged spending it any other way!! Love Phil and Mindy..... such great friends to have. A wonderful, sincere couple and always so happy that they live right down the street. I figured out on Friday night, that Phil and I have been friends for 13 years already (all thanks to the hubs). Like I have always said, I probably wouldn't have survived my first year of college without him.....oh and LORD, how I would LOVE to find some of those old pictures. HA! But Friday night we celebrated Phil's 31st Birthday at SATCO with a huge group of his closest friends....and yes, we did have baby B in tow. I kept replaying the scene from "Sweet Home Alabama"......where Reece says, "You have a baby, in a bar?" Well yea, sorta we did. But B was AWESOME. I was so thrilled to spend some extra time with Samantha too. It was such a great night.

Now that B is reaching 9 months (my goodness, where has the time gone??) and he has his two front(-ish) teeth we are now able to start introducing a whole new range of food. It's really exciting for me to be able to witness a first taste.... or being able to watch his expression when he feels something like a potato or bread in his hands for the first time. Tonight, we introduced grapes..... and lets just say it was REALLY interesting.

Two grapes were cut up into small pieces. Placed on his tray. B decided to stare at them for a good 8 minutes solid. Seriously, what the h%$l are these things? That's exactly what his expression was....there is really no other way to describe it. Well, it took him quite awhile to eat only a few. I can ONLY imagine what's to come with all the new foods that will be introduced in the next few months. HA!

My baby boy is growing up SO fast, I can hardly believe it.

They have arrived.... FINALLY!!! Baby B finally, finally, finally has cut his first two teeth!!

Last Saturday we noticed that he was playing with his gums a lot more then usual and making some different sounds (clicking). Sunday it just happened so quickly and the first one just popped on thru!!! Wednesday, I was at home with B for the day and low and behold.... he cut his second one. I mean, is this all really suppose to happen this fast?? He has been sick all week with a double ear infection and honestly I do not think this "teething" thing has bothered him one bit. Of course I have been thankful that he has been a little more cuddly then usual....even though it could be because he is sick. Of course, I love me some love from my B. But anyways, I am just THRILLED that they are finally here and he is looking even MORE adorable then ever. I could just eat him up....

As part of tradition, this year we again joined our favorite families - the Greeks, the Jones' and the Dillards at Hillwood Country Club to watch the fireworks and have a little quality time with our 2nd family. They always put on quite a show and we were ALL excited this year to see baby B's reaction. Last year, we all got to witness Lofton's first reaction to fireworks and now it was Brennan's turn. He loved them....!! Not one tear and only a few jumps. He watched in amazement from beginning to end. I was truly surprised. It was a great night had by all.

Well, vacation finally came and went..... and wow, it was one.amazing.week. We stayed in a beautiful beach house right on the ocean with its own pool. Days were s

pent at the beach and nights were spent outside on the porch rocking in the old wooden rocking chairs. There was lots of fun times, lots of reminiscing about past trips and even some quiet time. It was so nice to have the family around and especially have B spend a lot of quality time with Uncle Rick and Sissy. On a side note, we also got to act like kids again - which is always fun....

Being able to introduce Baby Brennan to the ocean and seeing his eyes just light up with excitement made the entire trip worth it. Baby B LOVED the water - LOVED the beach - and LOVED the sand. We introduced him to the water on Sunday morning. One step at a time, cause I can only imagine the waves being a little scary. Splashed a little bit of water and then just had to sit him down in the sand. Yes, he loved it....

and of course got tipped over (mom caught him) by one big wave (waiting on the picture from BeBe) and that moment was just priceless. I got my chance to lay on the beach and read. I would usually always have baby B sitting there with me. He would sleep under the little tent or would be playing with the boys. It was just awesome.

I realized after I got home I took well over 300 pictures. I think I wanted to make sure to document every second of this trip. I already can't wait to take him back next year!

To one of my bestest girlfriends. I sometimes can't believe that we have been best friends since 5th grade. From the ever famous trip to Disney, to Spring Break trips in High School, to traveling to Ole Miss to see you graduate, standing by you at your wedding, being there for the birth of your first born and soon to be second. Now introducing..... the pack and play.

Well folks, baby B is officially a gold medal roller-overer. He rolls and rolls all across the room.

Every now and again, a moms gotta get some work done.... so, the pack and play has been officially introduced. And amazing but true, after being a little freaked out at first (I mean who WOULDN'T be) he has started to really love it. He thinks its really funny to talk to him thru the netted material on the sides. Its been such a blessing already and we are only a few days in.....

Part of the morning routine is that when B wakes up - he is fed and then hangs out while we finish getting ready. He is starting to really get into some shows on TV and its REALLY stinkin cute. He LOVES Curious George and Sid the Science Kid...... you know its bad when you start singing the theme songs when they come on. HA! I'm not a sucker for putting B in front of the TV.... but honestly, NPT kinda rocks. No "commercials" and all educational programs. Now, I just HOPE that Barney never makes it into this house.... :)

B got to experience his FIRST real soccer game on TV. With the HUGE soccer family that we have I am actually surprised that this was his first time. The World Cup has been a pretty big deal. Last Saturday was the first USA game and many of our friends and family met up to watch the game together. The best part about it was we went to BW3 out in Nashville West where they were donating 20% of all receipts to benefit HYSA. So many, many people came out to support. As you know (especially by my previous post) - HYSA was completely destroyed by the flood back in May. There ended up being a record 16" of water that destroyed equipment, buildings and even goals and uniforms. So allot of HYSA is starting from scratch. With as involved with HYSA as we all are.... this was the perfect place to be and the perfect game to watch. Well.... BW3 was PACKED!! Wall to wall and lots of cheering and yelling. I just knew that it would scare B especially the first few times - but no, he totally rocked it. He was so happy and having such a blast. He ended up having so much fun - that somehow, someway he fell asleep. Not just a catnap - but the good ol mouth breathing kinda knocked out sleeping. This was all while the cheering and yelling was still going on!!! It was such a fun afternoon..... a great way to start off the summer.

And yes, I did dress him in a Run DMC tshirt and seersucker pants.....

The time has finally arrived..... the pool is open!!!!! Over the holiday weekend we decided it was the PERFECT time to take B to the pool for his first time. Get him used to the water before heading off to the beach - oh and how he LOVED it. I put him in the kiddy pool first and let him play in there for awhile before heading off to the big pool. He loved the water and loved watching all of the other kids play.

I remember being at the pool July 4th weekend last year. A mom stopped me to ask me how far along I was because yes, I was rockin a swimsuit that showed off my preggo belly. I told her I was due in October and we chatted for awhile. She was sitting there with her son, that had been born October the prior year. I was floored in thinking.... this will be me next year. That will be how BIG my son will be next year. It was so hard to realize.

But now... here I am.

And how wonderful it is.

Memorial Day Cookout.

Finally, we were able to put our backyard to good use. Memorial day weekend was the perfect time to do this. A good 'ol cookout was organized and BOY did we have so much fun. Hanging out in the backyard with all the kids, the adults hanging back having a few beers and eating some very yummy food. It was actually one of the first times we got ALMOST all of the kids together (we missed you John Douglas). It's what I have been looking forward to the most. Now that Brennan is really interactive, plays, talks and is sitting up on his own.... everything is starting to get really fun. My group of friends have been together for a VERY long time....and now our kids are all growing up together as well. I know that this will be the start of one incredible summer

Well, baby B is officially a side sleeper. It cracks me up because he gets in the strangest positions to sleep since he isn't swaddled at night anymore....but some of them just look SO uncomfortable. But the best part is when he sleeps like this for his afternoon nap. Well, that leads me to this quick story....

B and I got LOTS of quality time this past weekend (which is what I have been really craving lately) and Saturday mornings are always the best. We watch cartoons together..... (Imagination Movers and Curious George are his favorites) and then he usually plays for quite some time. Right now we are working on learning how to crawl. Well, this past Saturday, I was letting him play on his floor mat for awhile and then all of a sudden it got SO quiet. B is always talking and moving and shaking... but this time pure silence.

I peeked around the corner and this is what I saw...... priceless.

Baby Brennan is offically sick. And the worst part about it is, it's pink eye. (ick). Oh, not just pink eye in ONE eye... but actually in BOTH. Yes, my little baby is sick. Today was the first time I every had to get a prescription filled for him.

Broke my heart, but was also a moment for the baby book....

In my best Hulk Hogan voice I say.... "P90X cause X means EXTREME!!!" Yes boys and girls, the Ward household has been introduced to P90X. We have started it and definitely (at this point in time) plan to finish it (ask me again in about 2 weeks). I am sure everyone has seen the infomercial at least once. Its the one that "claims" that it transforms your body in 90 days.... you get hooked in watching it within the first 5 minutes. Its one of those infomercials where you REALLY start to ask yourself, should I buy this??? Well, thinking long and hard about this one.... we finally BORROWED it. I was not about to invest a couple of hundred bucks in this DVD set when we could just borrow from our good ol sissy, Sarah. I mean who would NOT want their bonus room to look like a total gym? Please, sense the sarcasm there... its already driving me a little batty. Tonight was night #3.... and already I cant move. Every night there is something different. So far, I am really digging it. I am amazed in just talking about it with a handful of people over these past few days how many have actually tried it.... got half way thru it or actually completed it. So, the night time routine has definitely changed quite a bit. Work. Home. Dinner. B a bath. B to bed. P90X. Bed. So now, we are working out between 9 and 9:30 at night. Let me just say, by the time the session is over I am WIPED out. A great change of pace from the constant running at the gym. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I (or we... I am being a little selfish here) get great results. So I will update in a few weeks, or maybe a month and let you know about the progress..... so in your best Heisman pose, just remember to "bring it".

Yesterday, we had the joy of spending the afternoon with Sara Rose so that she could photography baby B's sweet 6 month pictures. Sara and I had been talking of doing something VERY different then before. We decided this time to take it downtown! We wanted to take some pictures in front of the good 'ol Nashville Mural but was VERY disappointed to learn that it had been torn down. So we grabbed Sara in our car and started driving around.... we first landed at Marathon Village and made our way all the way back to the Cash wall off of 4th ave. We had SUCH a great time.... baby Brennan just LOVES Sara every time he is around her. These are probably my most favorite pictures that she has taken so far - thank you SO much Sara!!! Baby B cant wait to see you again at 9 months!!!

First Mothers Day with B.

Wow, has life changed. I am now a mom to the most precious boy any person could ask for. Is being a mom the hardest "job" I have ever had. Yes. Why? Because, I am responsible for raising this boy. I am responsible for how he treats others, how he reacts to situations, how he approaches life, how he lives his life, and how he loves. I want him to respect others no matter what, I want him to take every situation and learn from it, I want him to go through life with an open mind and to have the drive to always be better, I want him to jump head first into his dreams and make them all come true and I want him to love like he has never been hurt. How will he "learn" to do these things? With the way that I live my life. It's a choice everyday to wake up and live my life this way. I want to be the example for baby Brennan. It's easy to tell someone you LOVE them, but to show him that love every single day, with every single step...is incredible.

Today is the day to celebrate the new little love who has filled my heart so completely....this tiny new life who has made my life whole. Today is the day to celebrate the wonder of being a mom and the lasting joys that only being a mom can bring.

I love you baby B.

You are my world.

This past week has just been surreal.

Never have I loved more living in Riverwalk. I have always found some reason to complain - especially when I get letters from the Homeowners Association that I have left my trashcan outside 8 1/2 hours too long. But now, after all of this. I love Riverwalk. We have come together as a community. Every few hours there is another email update - how they are helping, who is feeding our neighborhood today, who is having a cookout at their house for everyone to come over, who is opening their doors to let you come shower and wash clothes. Even with the police standing post at each neighborhood entrance, checking ID's. They are keeping us safe. Everyone is making us feel like a family. Its been pretty amazing.

There has been an overwhelming response of volunteers helping just on Newsome Station Road alone.... especially with Beautiful Valley which was hit the worst. On Saturday, we decided to venture out of volunteering in our neighborhood and head down to the HYSA soccer fields. It was a mess....and still is. Everything has been flipped upside down and just ruined. The water was atleast 16 feet high and possibly even higher. We did our part. We helped....

Right now, every little bit helps.

So, baby B decided to do his part in conserving water. Usually, he has a bath in his little bathtub with constant running water. This time he decided to have his first BIG BOY bath!!! Since he is sitting up so much on his own, it was perfect timing for a real (very well supervised) big bath.

He splashed, he cried and oh wow... he was confused.

But really, he was just plain adorable.

This past week has seemed like a distant fog.

What happened last weekend seems like a dream.

That is until you drive around the block.....

The floods of May 2nd will be in our memories forever.

Here is the story:

(I apologize ahead of time if its really spotty, so much has happened)

Last weekend was planned as normal. Soccer, dinners, time with friends, chores around the house, time with B, etc. That is until it started. Its started raining.

Tim got the phone call at 5am last Saturday that soccer had been cancelled. Usually that is a blessing in disguise because that means he is home to do stuff around the house (ie. cut the grass) and of course help with baby B. But that day just felt different. I left to go do my girl thing and get my hair done and soon came back home. We had planned on going out for Sushi, but after reading a lot of facebook posts that people were getting stuck on the interstate because of the rain we decided to take a second thought on those dinner plans and decided to just stay in. I am "that mom" that is super cautious when driving with B in the car, so I didn't want to risk anything.

In the middle of the night the storms came....lots of thunder, lots of lightening and wow, was it loud on the windows. I woke up around 7am that Sunday and soon after that we lost power. So, I really hadn't experienced the loss of power with a baby in the house.... it sure was quiet. The best thing to do was for B and I to go right back to sleep. Tim got the itch to go for a walk. He geared up in his rain suit and decided to go take a peek at the Harpeth River that runs along our neighborhood. He did this about 3 or 4 times that morning. Every time he came back, he would say how much closer water is getting to our street - honestly, I didn't believe him. The river always seemed so far away. I started getting lots of texts asking if we were alright. Come to find out, our subdivision was starting to be a focus for the news channels. But being without power, we really had no idea. We heard lots of helicopters flying over, but I don't think we ever put two and two together. A few hours later Tim went on another walk - it was roughly around 11am. He came back and I knew by the look on his face it wasn't good. He wasn't gone but maybe 10 minutes. "It's only a few houses down", he said. What is only a few houses down???? Yes, it was the Harpeth. It has started taking over our neighborhood.

Next thing I know, Phil and Mindy are stopping by to pick up Tim to ride around and see what all is going on. They realized quickly that all ways were blocked. Mindy took some pretty amazing pictures that I will post below. I think it really hit me when I was told the 9ft bridge was barely visible by only an inch. Never did I think I would witness anything like this in my life. On their way back, they drove thru Beautiful Valley....a subdivision right next to Riverwalk. It was completely underwater. Phil and Tim went into rescue mode. They tied the Kayak on top of the 4Runner and off they went. B and I said "bye" and "be careful".... but I don't think I really understood what I was in for over the next few hours.

I continued on like I should.... with taking a break every 30 minutes to go to the end of my street to see where the water was at again. I did busy work. I couldn't sit there and think about what was happening. Tim and Phil were out saving lives. They were saving peoples livelihoods. Phil, who is roughly 6ft tall was up to his shoulders in water - both of them helping every way they could. There I sat, at home....for hours, on the steps to my house...I was scared to death. Cell phones didn't work. Texts didn't work. It had been 3 hours, no word. The rain was coming down harder then I had ever seen it before. I couldn't get thru. I couldn't find them. I had some of the worst thoughts I had ever had in my life. I've lost them all. Honestly, I was frozen.

An hour later, they came home. Drenched. Soaked and with the Kayak in tow. They were all okay and they had done everything they could do at that point to help anyone that needed help. The remainder of the day seemed like a blur. We had no power. So basically the three of us sat in the garage and watched the rain come down until it was too dark to be outside anymore. 9pm I was in bed ready to doze off.... Baby B in the room, windows open. All I could think about was what had just happened that day. Half of my neighborhood is under water. The Harpeth doesn't exist anymore. I couldn't believe this. All I could say was that I was scared.

Monday morning, the rain came and went. People started coming out from every which direction. I have never seen more of my neighbors come together before. We had all of our doors open, we were all just in and out of everyones houses. Helping. Doing what we could. The damage was just unreal.

We made it out that afternoon - one "quick" trip to the grocery. The interstates were still shut down. McCrory was the only road open. Trees were down. Telephone wires were across the roads. But we were determined. The first stop was a Kroger.... one single file line to get in the door. You could only buy one of each of the following: water, paper towels and batteries. That's all. Moved on to Publix across the street. There had to have been 500+ people there. All sitting outside, charging cell phones and just swapping stories with one another. There was no more bread, no more water. So we grabbed whatever we could. Diapers, baby formula and beer. Isles were roped off. Shelves were empty. The sight was just insane. I was almost glad to be back home.

I still don't understand how we got power back on that night around 10pm.... we had been told it would be at least until Friday before we would get power again because our Nashville west substation was completely underwater. I was thankful. The only thing I was worried about was possibly making my child sick from bottles that had sat out too long. I could have cared less about me, about how I felt or what food I had.... I just wanted to make sure Brennan was in a healthy environment and just having power gave me that comfort again.

The interstates had opened up Monday afternoon.... Tuesday I ventured to work. I was checked out. Honestly, I have been checked out all week. The devastation in my neighborhood has been very hard to swallow. I receive email after email from our homeowners association on how they are helping..... Outback, Maggianos, Tide load of hope, Bellevue YMCA, random neighbors, handfuls of volunteers.... everyone is just coming together. We have become one.

Everyday this week has felt like a "Monday". I am drained.

I am so very thankful that my house is okay, but at the same time feel very guilty for what I have and what my neighbor does not.

Tomorrow I help. Tomorrow I do what I can. I will do whatever I can.....

This will be a week I will never forget.

Last week, baby B went for his 6 month checkup with Dr Godfrey. We had been anxiously awaiting this appointment because now we know we would get to talk about MORE food and juice and when we should expect those (very, very long awaited) teeth. Dr. Godfrey was extremely impressed with Brennan. He commented on how well he was sitting up and actually sitting up on his own - he mentioned that not many 6 month old babies can do that. So, of course I was a little proud thinking I had a super baby. HA! He talked about the introduction of water and juice and also increasing his intake of food.... oatmeal, yogurt....all that good stuff. So far so good on the food. He did say that by 9 months old he should be self feeding andeating three meals a day..... I mean WHAT!! He LOVES eating yogurt with oatmeal actually mixed in. But I will say we aren't too good yet with the sippy cup. No matter what, my baby B is growing up way too fast.

Today, we welcomed to the world John Douglas Weir. We have been waiting what seems like such a long time to meet this little fella. He is just precious. He made his entrance this morning and has had a ton of visitors all afternoon. Sarah, one of my best friends is what I like to call a rockstar. She has had such a long journey since her water broke yesterday afternoon. But she has been surrounded by friends and family ever since - what we like to call "for love". This afternoon all of the girls finally made it out to the hospital to meet little John Douglas. We got tons of pictures, lots of laughs and shared stories for what seemed like hours. These are precious times. When you are able to share with your very close friends these milestones in each others lives.

Today is my 1/2 year birthday.

Today I am 6 months old.

Last week I starting saying my first consonant: b's.

I am sitting up all the time and starting to drink water.

Personal Goal: To just finish 13.1 miles.

Mental Goal: 13.1 miles in 3 hours.

Actual: 13.1 miles in 2 hours and 32 minutes. done.

Finally, the Country Music 1/2 Marathon has come and gone. The day that I had been looking forward to (maybe even slightly dreading) has been checked off and as CRAZY as it is, I am already looking forward to running it again next year. I kinda forgot about the thrill, that feeling of running with 32,000 people, crowds cheering you on, bands rocking on the sidewalk, everyone supporting one another. No pushing, no shoving... its always one of the the BEST races to run. This one compared to two years ago was allot more challenging then I expected. But I did the best that I could with only having a baby 6 months ago and "training" in the short amount of time that I did. I wanted to go ahead and recap, just get it all down the events of yesterday while they are fresh on my mind. So, just to for warn you... this may be the longest.post.ever.

Bright and early yesterday morning - 4am - I start getting ready for the race. Shower, clothes, shoes, bananas, check. We woke baby B up super early and starting getting him ready too. He honestly had NO idea what was going on, but all in all was still a really happy little fella. At 5:30am we headed to pick up my cousin, my running partner in crime and headed to the race. We arrived around 6am and started heading to our corral. Let me remind you, we were in Corral 4.... which is in the VERY front. When you approach the start line on West End the last corral in pretty much right next to the intersection at Maggiano's and the Tin Angel - our corral was next to Centennial park in front of PF Changs. Each corral held 1000 people. Tim, manning the stroller with baby B only made it up to Corral 30 and then we had to say our goodbyes and hear the AMAZING words "see you at the finish line"!! Chris and I headed up to the front but then heard the announcement that they were planning on starting the race 15 minutes early due to weather.... that was not cool. By the time we reach corral 4 it was already 6:45. The gun went off and they decided NOT to space each corral by 2 minutes, it was really 30 seconds. No stretching. Let me repeat, I did NOT get to stretch. This is gonna be really bad. So I pump up my iPod as loud as it could go (key start song to any race: 4 minutes by Madonna and Justin Timberlake), start yelling and jumping with the crowd and OFF WE GO! Mile 1 and 2 were straight down West End to the arena, then we turned to head up the back side ofDemonbreun. This was a change of course from the last time I ran. Honestly, this was HORRIBLE. If you have ever driven that stretch its one solid incline all the way up to the round-a-bout. Mile 3.... I hit my first wall. Really, already?? I was so upset. I knew it was because I was tired and hadn't stretched... but immediately thought this was going to be a long run. I pushed thru and headed on. Mile 4 and 5 were just okay, but I knew around Mile 6, Belmont Blvd I would get to lay eyes on my baby Brennan cheering me on. The area's betweenDemonbreum and Belmont are always the most crowded with spectators. People were cheering, playing music, handing out fruit.... AND had setup beer stations which I thought was hilarious. So these few miles seemed the easiest to get thru. As I turn on Mile 6, there he was - my B - watchin his mamma run! That was perfect, exactly what I needed. Mile 7, I kept thinking to myself.... "half way done, half way done". Mile 8 I started a new pace of: run 5 minutes, walk 1, run 5, walk 1. I had to keep my strength to get to the end. Mile 10, the Gu station.... praise.the.Lord. That gives you the one last kick that you need. The coolest part around Mile 10 is that you are going under a TON of bridges where 100's of people are hanging off of cheering you on....its pretty amazing. Mile 11, Marathoner's and 1/2 Marathoner's split and a guy passed out right next to me. oh.wow. Mile 12, I start to see people holding signs "your almost finished!". Mile 12 1/2 people start cheering "this is the last stretch, this is the LAST hill, your almost there!" Another girl, who I had been pacing with for the past 6 miles, passes out in front of me. God, this is hard. Mile 13 and the home stretch. The best part of the ENTIRE race. 1000's of people are at the finish line, cheering, screaming, your adrenalinestarts pumping. I run faster then I have ever run before. I cross. I cry. I just plain out lose it. I am so tired. I am so happy. Oh my God, I DID IT!

Yesterday was one of the biggest accomplishments I have made in my life thus far. The first time I ran, was for me. This time, I ran for my baby boy. I felt like I had purpose. I did it and I couldn't be happier.

Three days and counting..... the rest of today, tomorrow and Friday and then its finally here. The Country Music 1/2 Marathon. What seemed like FOREVER away only a few months ago is finally here. I remember signing up for the race and saying to myself....I can finally start running again like I used to. Well kids, that's not the case. Yes, I run. Yes, I still LOVE to run... it is still my therapy. But NO, I am not able to run like I used to. Before baby B, I was logging 20 to 30 miles a week EASY. Now, I am lucky to log 10. Instead of being solely focused at the gym.... I am more worried about getting home before baby B goes to bed so that I can have a few minutes of quality time with him. Wow, have my priorities changed.... and you know what, that's ok. Summer is just right around the corner, the warmer weather is upon us.... now THAT means I can come home, grab the jogger (ps. 6 months is the ALL clear to run with your baby) and hit the pavement. I am actually really excited about that.

Saturday is the 1/2 Marathon. A milestone for myself. One of my "after-baby" goals. I will finish it.... I will finish it for my B. Brennan also turns 6 months old on Saturday. Two milestones in one day. What's a mother to do???? I think I might just take a jog.

First time for everything...

Well, it officially happened.... B finally got sick. We have been so thankful that he had not gotten sick during any of the cold months and when thing started blooming. It happened last Thursday night and I will honestly say it was one of the scariest situations I had been in to date with him. I guess something inside of you just triggers and sometimes you panic... especially as a first time parent.

Last Thursday night, baby Brennan was so so so cuddly.... and of course, I just loved it and was eating it up. He is now to the point that he wiggles and squirms and arches his back constantly, but that night was just different. He cuddled and we played and we cuddled until about 8:00 that night. I picked him up and sat him straight up in my lap... he burped, and then he burped LOUD, I kinda chuckled and then it just came.... throw up everywhere. I just don't mean spit up... I mean it was all over me, him, the carpet...everywhere. I screamed and cried which of course is what I probably shouldn't had done. But I just never thought THAT much stuff could come out of a baby's belly. I stripped him down and washed him off with a cold wash cloth and immediately went into his room and put him on my chest. He just laid there, silent... with his eyes open laying while I rubbed on his back. It was one of the first times that I knew that baby B did not feel good. He had a temp of 101....

We put him to sleep around 9:30 and he slept solid until 7:30 the next morning...without a peep. Only had a slight fever but he was so warm to the touch. We think that he had a 24 hour bug that finally caught up to him. By Friday evening he was completely back to his normal self.

It was a milestone that was reached and I sure am glad that we have finally passed.

One of my best friends, Sarah and her hubby Matt are expecting their first little one in only a few weeks. I had the privilege of hosting her baby shower this past Saturday night. We decided to make it a "boys and girls" shower... but in order to keep the boys entertaining for something so girly, you must provide one thing: BEER. So, the easiest answer was to host the shower at our other dearest friends restaurant/bar: Three Stones Pub in our neck of the woods in Bellevue. (If you haven't visited yet... its a MUST) We had a GREAT turnout and a nice break away from all the kids for a bit. Their soon to arrive baby boy, John Douglas got lots and lots of presents. Sarah is the last of our "crew" to have a baby...and now, we will officially have a football team (jenn, sarah,jenn b. and donna) - with two official cheerleaders (leslie -2). I just absolutely love it.

One of my favorite things about my closest girlfriends is that we have been friends for years and years...and now, our kids are all having a chance to grow up together. I have been friends with Leslie since I was in 4th grade and her husband, Emil was one of Tim's first roommates in college at Western Kentucky. I am a little proud to say that they met at our engagement party 7 years ago and not soon after got married. They have one of the CUTEST little girls that I have ever laid my eyes on.... Alice Porter. Miss Porter turned 2 this weekend and Brennan and I were able to make it to her fun little party. Lots of family and friends...and of course my favorite part is all the little kids running around. Don't grow up too fast little girl...cause that means B will be right behind you!

Easter Weekend Part 2.

Christmas Eve we learned our lesson... how to manage "house jumping" between our families on holidays and still try and a keep a non-napping baby happy. Whew. This holiday was better but was truly exhausting. Sunday morning, we all got ready for Church and then let baby Brennan visit his Easter basket and all his goodies. It was adorable because he actually started taking things out of his basket and of course putting them straight into his mouth. He also seemed a lot more interested in the crinkle stuff in the bottom of the basket rather then the toys... but that's how it always works, right? Well, we went to Church and he had a GREAT time in the nursery.... went to the in-laws and visited for awhile and then came home so that I could cook my famous macaroni and cheese and then headed to mom's til 8:00 that night for dinner with the fam. (that was one LONG run on sentence... huh). Brennan was a sport, he did so well and of course LOVED being the center of attention. One of my favorite parts was that Mom filled Brennan's Easter basket with a lot of my toys from when I was a baby. I had no idea that she had kept any of that...but now I have them to pass on for years to come.

Easter weekend was one that was CRAZY - but we had LOTS of fun in between. I wanted to take part in as much stuff as I could with baby Brennan since this was his first Easter. Every year our neighborhood throws a HUGE Easter egg hunt where there are 2000 + eggs hidden. The Easter bunny comes and visits all the kids and this year, we also had a magician. So last Saturday, B and I headed down to the pool house with about 200+ other people to partake in all of the festivities. He just loved it. He was having an absolute BALL. We were down there for hours and even got a chance to swing together. I can't wait to start doing these types of things with B as he gets older...we got sun, we had smiles, we had a great afternoon together.

This is the mom asking for guidance again.... girls, I need more advice!!!!

Today was probably the most challenging day I have had with baby B since he was an infant.

He was in tears ALL day. Would sleep in 30 minute spurts and still wake up with tears.

I am hoping and praying that I wake up tomorrow and one of those little teeth-ies has popped thru.

I am afraid of giving him too much Tylenol or him gagging himself too much because he is chewing on anything he can get his hands on.

What do I do? How do you sooth them? A few of you mentioned the herbal remedies... do those really work?? I just don't know how to get through this. It just breaks my heart.

New Year, New Outlook (update).

I am always amazed how many people read this blog. How I get so many emails from friends, old sorority sisters and even family. You never think that people are reading these things but I am always amazed to find out how many people really are. Recently, I have gotten a lot of emails about a post that I had made in December. (http://houseofwards.blogspot.com/2009/12/new-year-new-outlook.html) Asking for an update on how things are going... I have been very quiet about my "new outlook" and realized since I decided to share with you my goals back in December that I should share with you my progress.

As of today, closing on the end of March I have officially lost 13 lbs since Jan 1st. I am 4 lbs away from pre-baby weight. I have been very quiet about this because this is not the typical "jennifer" expectation of myself. It has been a VERY slllooooowwww process and honestly, a little too slow for my liking. Many people say that it took you 9 months to put it on, it should take you 9 months to take it off. Well, I am TRYING to think that. Now that it is getting so much warmer outside I am hoping that my motivation will kick in. Oh, and also that the pool opens in only 2 short months. YIKES!

Marathon training.... can I just say YIKES again??? I will run the 1/2 and I will finish it. That is my goal and I am definitely sticking to it. I am up to 5 to 6 miles on average now. Running at least twice a week... a good week would be 3 times. In the next month.... (yes, there is only a month left til the marathon) I am going to try my hardest to get in 4 days a week. Say a little prayer for me that I don't end up on the 6:00 news.

My main focus right now, other then my child... is work/life balance. That has been the hardest part of all about becoming a parent. A dear friend of mine gave me an article that I have blown up a portion and have hanging in my office at work.... it reminds me that I need to be thankful that I have a PURPOSE. It doesn't matter what that purpose is, but to SOMEBODY I am important.

Life continues on my friends. Rain or shine.

Tomorrow is always a new day.

Sunshine - oh, sunshine - oh how I love thee.....and obviously my son does too. Saturday ended up being VERY windy so our jog in the jogging stroller was postponed. So, we chose to take out the Bugaboo and go walking.... and wow, did we walk. I think I went a little over 4 miles and thankful to the AMAZING bugaboo stroller I was able to flip around B's seat so the wind was never hitting him straight in the face. We also stopped by the playground in our neighborhood and I FINALLY got to take him swinging. Kathy has been able to do this a few times and has always said how much he loves it.... and yes, he definitely does. He was all smiles the entire time. When we got home it was SO nice to see that he had gotten some sun on his cheeks. Sunkissed that is. It was perfect. A perfect Saturday of just me and B.

This past Friday night was Brennan's first trip to Loveless Cafe. Any true Nashville has been there many times and like me might have a small craving for their HBC every now and again. (cough, cough... hash brown casserole for those that are wondering). Met some wonderful very long time friends of ours - the Phindy's - Phil and Mindy that is. Tim and Phil went to high school together, with Mindy only one year ahead of them. Phil and I went to college together and honestly, I probably wouldn't had survived my first year without him. Now, they are probably one of the most AMAZING and sought after wedding photographers in Nashville. I always joke and say that I feel like I am friends with celebrities. Anyways, Phil and I have been talking for awhile about a side project. He always has TON's of business ideas and feel honored that he has asked me to be a part of one.... I have to keep it secret for now (hehe), but maybe down the road I can spill a few of the beans :). As many of you know, I always have to have my hands in something.... career woman by day, ok...I'll stop there.

I am also drooling a bunch hoping I will cut my teeth really soon.

My sanity check days are the days that I get to myself.

My "girly" days that I love so much.

It's what I have been told since Day 1.... I need to find my "Me" days.

On those days, take one.deep.breath.

I left the house yesterday at 10:30 am for my hair appointment.

Left a screaming, crying baby....

Got home at 7:30 pm to a baby that was ALL smiles.

Somewhere in between.... I officially became a brunette again.

As I sit here and type this (one handed!) my son is chewing on my hand. I don't mean just cute baby chewing, I mean gnawing where I am actually saying "ouch!".

What are the signs of teething????

He has been super fussy today and for the past two weeks everything, and I mean EVERYTHING has been going into his mouth. He has even started chewing on his pacifier while its in his mouth too.

He has been drooling a ton since he was about 3 months old.... he will be 5 months this week.

I am such a BIG boy I am already in 6 to 9 month clothes so this maybe the one and only time I get to wear this.

I will have to get a lot of Auburn gear when SEC football starts up again!

Seeing sunshine lately is starting to become VERY rare. But when we do have the days that we have a little sunshine AND it seems to be warm baby B loves to be outside. Kathy (aka BeBe) loves taking him on walks during the day and has actually taken him down to the park/playground in our neighborhood a few times to let him swing. But thankful to Daylight Savings Time....we have been able to take B on ONE walk. The rest of the days its been super rainy, cold, dreary or just no one felt good in the Ward house.... (Brennan has seemed to have gotten everyone sick, including the in-laws!). I am looking forward to the days I get to come home, put B in the jogging stroller and get out and run for a few miles. I am thinking he will love it just as much as I will!

Mom's Night Out ....aka "MNO", where have you been all my life????

Last night I attended my first MNO dinner and let me just tell you how amazing it was. I was first invited back in October by a dear friend of mine, but B was just one day old and since then I couldnt attend due to conflicts or just being exhuasted because of a newborn. Last night I was finally able to go. We met in Green Hills for dinner and by 9pm we seemed to be the only one's left in the resturant. It was such a great and much needed night. I wish would have been up for it many months ago. It was TRUE therapy.

I do like to think of it as an "exclusive" group.... so many MUCH needed adult conversations were had. Work to relationships to just offering each other advise. There was hardly any talk of our kids... no poopy diapers, no sleep schedules.... just girls, being girls. You start to forget how much those types of "girly" conversations you need in life. To keep ticking. To realize alot of us are on the same page.

Thank you girls.... I am already looking forward to next month!

Tim and I have been working at the HYSA soccer fields pretty much since we were in high school. Every Saturday morning in the spring and fall season, watching all the kids play and see a lot of them grow up. We have always known that our little girl or boy would definitely be a soccer player. Tim plays (and coached for one season)....Tim's brother and sister both play and coach, his mom used to play and coach and his Dad has been coaching for years. So we just knew and also knew he wouldn't have much of a choice. Well, yesterday was B's first time down at the soccer fields. Tim has been continuing to work and has since I got REALLY preggers and had to turn in my resignation for the time being. The last time Tim was down at the fields was the day that I went into labor. So it was just ironic that the next time he worked was the day that I was able to bring B down there. Let me just tell you that Brennan LOVED it. B and I sat in the sun and just watched all the little kids play and run around. He was beyond fascinated. Watching all the bright colored uniforms, the ball going from one end of the field to other other and all the parents cheering and yelling. No matter where I took him, he always had to turn his head so he was watching a game. It made me SO VERY happy. B and I had planned to run more errands that afternoon and as SOON as I put him back in the car he was asleep.... and asleep for hours and hours. All the sun and sports must have worn him out. But made the whole family so excited for whats to come in the next few years!!

It has become a new family tradition that the grandchild in line to have a baby, the shower present is always the highchair. I have had this awesome wooden highchair sitting in the corner of my kitchen since last August. You work around it. You clean around it. Its just become part of the decor. Well yesterday I FINALLY got to use it! Even though B had to have a gangsta lean while he was in the chair he seemed to love it. Banana's and Applesauce were everywhere....but it was nice finally not having to feed him sitting in the Bumbo. He was just the cutest thing ever. But honestly, I never ever ever thought he would ever be big enough to sit in this thing. Time flies.

Baby B's Baptism.

Well, the day finally arrived. So much anticipation. So much planning. Now everyone is asleep.... but me. (whew). This morning, baby B was baptized as a child of God. We had so many family and friends there for support, encouragement and love. All promised to help guide him on his journey as a Christian. B was a perfect angel during the service. Nothing could have been better then a choir singing beautiful music and stained glass everywhere so that B could stare at all the pretty colors. He was honestly taking it all in and stayed so alert. Brennan was one of two babies being baptized today. The other was an 8 week old that had a temperament completely opposite of B's. She cried... which you can only expect any newborn to do. But that completely took the stress and anxiety off my shoulders. I prayed SO hard that B would be so good... that we could get thru this without a fuss or a tear. And thankfully we did. Even our Pastor mentioned what a "cool" and "laid back" demeanor B had. This morning couldn't have gone any better. After the service we had about 30 of our family and friends over to our house for a Brunch. We celebrated this blessed day and the blessing that B had received.

We prayed. We ate. We laughed.

It was an absolutely great afternoon.

We don't get to see much of Uncle Ricky these days like we used to. He is now a freshman in college at the University of Memphis and pledged as a Sigma Chi. College and his fraternity are keeping him very busy! And we miss him terribly much. But this weekend he did come home so that he could celebrate his 19th birthday with the fam. Brennan was SO happy to see Uncle Rick. I think that their personalities will be so much alike. Loving to be out and about...always around people and (of course) being the center of attention. I keep saying that once B's hair gets longer if we will have a "delta swoosh" like Rick does. Lord only knows what sort of things he will teach him too. But it was a fun time just to get out and about to celebrate his birthday. Happy Birthday bud! Don't stay away too long....

Oh, and this was the FIRST big boy outfit for B. A button down, khaki's and his Patagonia fleece.... and honestly he looked A-dorable!

I weigh close to 17 lbs and am 26" tall.

My favorite things to do are to reach, pull and grab for things.

B has pretty much been shopping with me since he was one week old. He is NO stranger to Target or even Green Hills Mall. He knows that I have a slight addiction/passion for shopping....whatever the reason, whatever the occasion.... I am always ready to go. Well, today we were shopping for B. GiGi and I made our way out to Opry Mills, on a Sunday none the less...which is usually a horrible idea on the weekends. But B was in good spirits so I knew it would be a great day. Our mission: Find B a baptismal gown for next weekend. I had spotted one a few weeks back but honestly the price tag made me turn away. (shocking, I'm sure!) I had kept looking, but nothing even compared to what I had already found. So my mom (GiGi) told me that her present to B for his baptism would be this gown. This would be starting a new family tradition. The underlay will be monogrammed with B's initials and the date that he was baptized. Each one of my children will wear the same gown and we will continue this down the family tree... I hope one day, 100s of years from now this gown will still be in the family all dating back to 02.28.10. Wow. That just gives me chills thinking about it.....

Anyways, back to shopping! We made it to Opry Mills and in the dressing room we went... I was of course expecting the worst, but Brennan was just ALL smiles and laughs and giggles the ENTIRE time we were trying this gown on him. He looked absolutely beautiful. I was so happy my mom and I were able to do this together.... to get this for him. This beautiful gift that I can only hope and pray that will be in our family for generations to come.

Well, we finally did it! B has finally been introduced to rice cereal and ohhhhh, what a mess!!! You hear horror stories from other mom's about how their babies spit and throw food and at this point I cant even imagine what is in store from here on out. He spit.... ALOT and thank goodness for the "catch all" bib otherwise it would have been everywhere! At first he really didn't know what to make of it... then he felt like he needed to help out by holding the spoon and for some reason, I think he had a hard time deciding if he REALLY wanted to eat or just suck on his hand. So, now we just have to learn how to get all of this rice cereal in his belly and then we can move on to yummy stuff like sweet peas (ewww) and bananas.

But this was definitely one moment for the baby book!
